FHP releases report of fatal Thanksgiving Day crash on U.S. 301 at County Road 462

The Florida Highway Patrol has released the accident report from a Thanksgiving Day crash that claimed the life of a 73-year-old woman.

The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at U.S. 301 and County Road 462 in Wildwood.

Rozanne Holiday Conger had been at the wheel of a 2014 four-door Chrysler which had been traveling east on County Road 462, according to the FHP report. She turned in front of a 2014 Dodge Durango driven by Keith Allen McDonald, 40, of Summerville, S.C.

Conger was airlifted from the scene of the accident to Ocala Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 10:59 p.m. that night.

McDonald was transported by ambulance to The Villages Regional Hospital.
