Fight breaks out over table space at laundromat in Ocala

A fight reportedly broke out Sunday afternoon over table space at a laundromat in Ocala.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to Spin City Laundry located at 3390 NE Jacksonville Road in reference to a physical disturbance in progress, according to an incident report.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a victim who reported that she and her mother were inside the laundromat doing laundry when a verbal argument ensued between her and other individuals inside the laundromat. The woman advised that the argument was over sitting arrangements at a table and that one of the other individuals inside the laundromat began cursing and talking aggressively toward the victim’s mother. Due to the mother’s medical concerns, the victim stepped in between and was attacked by a female, the report stated. Following the attack, the victim told the deputy she defended herself and the two began a mutual fight. During the fight, she was separated by an unknown male, who was not involved in the incident. The female was joined by another woman and man, who grabbed their laundry and left the business, getting into a vehicle and left in an unknown direction.
