A fight reportedly broke out Sunday evening during a volleyball game at Eaton’s Beach at Lake Weir.
A 19-year-old man had been playing volleyball when another man began “harassing” him, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He then ran into the man, but claimed he was “just playing volleyball,” the report indicated. He then took a swing at the man.
The victim reported that the actions could be related to the fact he is now involved with the man’s ex-girlfriend. He declined medical attention.
