THE VILLAGES – Florence Elizabeth Otto, 91, passed from this life Sunday, February 16, 2014. Born in Glasgow, Scotland she was the daughter of the late Victor and Winifred (Milton) Swarbrick. Florence was a retired electronic technician in the aircraft industry. She came to The Villages from Clio, MI in 1999. She was an Episcopalian and member of St. George Episcopal Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 347 of Lady Lake and enjoyed golf, bowling, mahjong and playing cards. Florence was predeceased by her husband Gerald Otto and brother Robert. She leaves her children, William H. Hart, III and wife Dorothy of Lincoln, MI, Dale Mills of The Villages, Robert Hart and wife Linda of Otter Lake, MI, Kathleen Norman and husband Edward of Canton, MI, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL followed by funeral services at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
