Several witnesses on scene reported a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling eastbound on State Road 200 at a high rate of speed as it approached the intersection of SW 69th CT RD, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The front of the motorcycle collided with the left passenger side of a 2005 Chevrolet Lumina driven by 82-year-old Sonyalea Sue Crammer of Ocala.

The impact caused the motorcycle and operator to become wedged in the rear passenger compartment of car which then erupted in flames.

Crammer was airlifted to UF Shands Health with non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist’s identity is unknown at this time due to the vehicle fire.
