Ford F-250 leaves roadway, hits light pole at County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard

A Ford F-250 left the roadway and hit a light pole Friday morning at County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard.

The Ford F-250 had been eastbound at 8:15 a.m. on County Road 466 when an unidentified northbound vehicle on Morse Boulevard turned right onto County Road 466, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The unidentified vehicle had a red light and pulled out in front of an eastbound vehicle in the right lane.

The driver of the vehicle in the right lane tried to change lanes to avoid an accident and hit the Ford F-250. The F-250 left the road and hit a light pole.

There were no injuries and no citations were issued.
