A Forest High School student was arrested Tuesday after an outburst sparked by an invalidated test.
The student’s test was invalidated after she kept a folder on top of her desk in defiance of the rules at the high school in Ocala, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
She became disruptive, prompting the removal of other students from the classroom. She then refused to leave the classroom and law enforcement was summoned. The student shouted profanities all the way down the hall.
She claimed she had been trying to sleep during the test.
The student was taken to the Marion County Jail Juvenile Process Center.
