Frances C. Connor, 65, Leesburg, FL. passed away on October 27, 2014 at her residence under the loving care of her family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Mrs. Connor was born on February 22, 1949 in Queens, New York to her parents Dominic Pellicci and Anne (Falgiano) Pellicci. She had worked as a Teacher’s Aid for the William Floyd Public School in Mastic, New York. She moved to Leesburg 10 years ago from Mastic, New York and was of the Catholic faith. She was very active in her community with the New Comers Club, Tea Club and had been involved with the Children’s Advocacy group in Lake County. She is survived by her loving husband: James J. Connor of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Conrad Hauca and his wife Denise Hauca, of Land O’Lakes, FL and Bryan Hauca of St. James, NY; a brother: Dominic Pellicci of New York; two sisters: Josephine Rosenthal of Brentwood, NY and Ann Wicmandy of Medford, NY; two grandchildren: Conrad Thomas Hauca and Cole Ryan Hauca and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Hauca. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. The family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society at 1601 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32804 or Lake Sumter Children’s Advocacy Center 300 S. Canal Street, Leesburg, FL 34748.
