Frances S. Schatz, age 81, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Leesburg, Florida. Frances was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and spent most of her life in Connecticut. In 2000 she and her husband moved to the Leesburg area from Plant City, Florida. She was a retired manager with AT&T where she worked for over 20 years. Frances attended the Corpus Christi Episcopal Church in Okahumpka, Florida. Those closest to her will remember her energetic personality and her caring, thoughtful manner. Throughout her life she and her husband of 61 years Carl enjoyed traveling the globe with Hawaii being her favorite destination. She was also an avid golfer and loved to “play the slots” whenever she got the opportunity. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Carl; daughters – Donna Daniels of Glastonbury, CT; and Linda Schatz of West Hartford, CT; and 5 grandchildren – Julie, Chris (Eva), Caroline, Matt, and Casey.
A celebration of Frances’ life is planned for 11 a.m., May 12, 2016 at the Page-Theus Funeral Home, 914 West Main Street, Leesburg, Florida 34748.
