Frank ‘Bubba’ Markle Jr.

Frank “Bubba” Markle Jr., age 83, of Wildwood, Florida, and native of Waukesha.
Wisconsin and son of the late Frank and Mary Adler Markle. Frank is a Korean War veteran serving in the US Army. He is a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. Frank was the owner operator of the Butzen – Markle vending company, in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. He also worked for the Winnebago Beverage Distributor in Fond du Lac and was former bartender and manager of the Circle Inn Tavern, Waukesha. Frank is a member of the Wisconsin ASA Hall of Fame and award winning third baseman and manager. His softball career spanned from 1951 to 1976. Leading his team to six consecutive Wisconsin ASA state championships Frank passed away in a Bushnell , Florida nursing center on September 3, 2016 after a long illness. He is survived by a loving wife Mary L. Markle (Lambert), Wildwood, Florida. Daughters Kim (Jim) Ransom, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Paula Caracci and her companion Larry Fabisiak both of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, one brother David (Charlotte) Markle,Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Frank is also survived by four grandchildren, Chad LeBeau, Andrew (Brook) LeBeau, Ann (Ryan) Pannenmann, Paul Caracci, and one great grandson Drake. He is preceded in death by four sisters, Katie, Barbara, Carol, Tudy and brother Jack. Inurnment service will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer Resource Center Inc., 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Orlando, Florida.
