Garbage pickup in The Villages will be impacted by arrival of Hurricane Irma

Due to Hurricane Irma, on Monday there will be NO TRASH OR RECYCLE pickup service for those residents who live in the Marion County, Sumter County (excluding the Village of Fenney) or Fruitland Park portions of The Villages.
If you live in these areas and have Monday collection, place your household garbage or recycling out by 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning if weather permits (winds are less than 35 MPH).
