Gary L. Brewer, born Feb. 10, 1960, passed away on July 27, 2017 from a sudden illness. Gary was the son of Owen and Jewell Brewer. He was a long-time resident of Leesburg, Florida where he worked for Publix Supermarkets for over 35 years. Gary is survived by younger brother, Jack Brewer of Maitland, Florida, and older brother Owen Brewer, Jr., of Grand Prairie, Texas; Sister-in-law Frances Brewer and special friend and neighbor Sandy Seymour.
Visitation will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123W. Main Street, Leesburg at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 and will be promptly followed by Services at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Alex Holloway will be officiating. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to your favorite charity or to St. Jude’s (a favorite of Gary’s.)
