Gary S. Hendricks, Sr., 63, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2014 in the loving presence of his family. Gary was born in Yonkers, NY and retired as an administrator from the Postal Service. He moved to The Villages from Yonkers, NY in 2006 enjoying his second career as a disc jockey (DJ). He always gave of his time and assisted many charities and organizations. Gary is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughter, Renee Fricker (Wayne) of Winter Park, FL, sister, Donna Nicadomo of Florida, 7 grandchildren, Emma, Erin, Kayley, Shannon, Brianna, Sean & Brendan and several nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by a son, Gary Hendricks, Jr in 2009 and brothers, Dennis & Robert. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 2 – 4 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 4 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
