George Huntley

George Francis Huntley, 79, of Lady Lake, FL passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014. He was born in Atlantic City, NJ and has been a Lake County resident since 1972. He worked as an accountant in Lake County for over 40 years. He was very active in the Leesburg Civitans, was a Master Mason since 1972, Leesburg Downtown Partnership, and past board member of the Leesburg Chamber. He also enjoyed golf, gardening, dancing and swimming and loved music. Survivors include his wife: Caroline (Carol) R. Huntley; 2 sons: Francis “Frank” Reno and wife Maria Yegella, Rutherfordton, NC; Henry David Reno, Mt. Dora, FL; 2 daughters: Caroline Elizabeth Reno, Lady Lake, FL; Georlyn Rita Huntley (Billy) Cates, Weirsdale, FL; 1 sister: Mary Lou Schutz, Port Republic, NJ; 6 grandchildren: Alvin, Carrie-Ann, Chad, Teresa, Jorlyn, Aaron and 11 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with a service at 6:00 PM.
