THE VILLAGES – Gerald W. Parenteau, 63, passed from this life Thursday, December 19, 2013. Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Adrien and Jeannette (Brown) Parenteau. Gerry was the owner of the former G.W. Parenteau Sheet Metal Co. of Burrillville, RI. He came to The Villages from Burrillville, RI with his wife Jo-Ann in 2004. He enjoyed life and being with his family and friends. Gerry was most proud of his children and especially proud of his grandchildren. Gerry was a member of The Villages Baby Boomers and you always could see him at The Villages Bowling Lanes “coaching” his wife to “focus” on her bowling style. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Jo-Ann (Cimaglia) Parenteau, and their children Susan Buono, Jonathan Keeble, Kristopher Keeble (Brenda), Jerry Parenteau and Connie(Joseph) Llanos Titus all in RI. Sisters Paula Caissy (Jonathan) of Vermont, Joyce Huestis (Dennis) of Rhode Island, brother Ron Parenteau (Prentiss) of New Hampshire, his favorite mother-in-law, Henrietta Cimaglia of RI, 6 fantastic grandchildren and his canine companion Brady. A Gathering to commemorate Gerry’s life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, from 10 to 12 Noon.
