To the Editor:
I’m wondering if global warming/climate change is really that serious a problem, or is it even a problem at all. Our politicians and environmental movement leaders are not showing me that they are taking it seriously, so why should I? For instance, President Obama and his wife have no qualms about hopping in Air Force One and jetting all over the world on their many vacations. Right now he is in Kenya on vacation. How many tons of greenhouse gas did that little jaunt spew into the atmosphere? Everyone who is reading this knows that this President and his wife really know how to live large, at the environments and our expense. So, until I see President Obama, Al Gore and the rest of our elite leaders show me by their example, that climate change is a problem that everyone needs to deal with, I won’t worry about it.
