Golf cart driver suffers injuries in collision with SUV
Villages Public Safety Department responded to the scene of the accident.

The operator of a golf cart was transported to The Villages Regional Hospital following a collision at 11:20 a.m. Monday with a Ford Escape on the Historic Side of The Villages.

The golf cart was traveling in the vicinity of Shay and Tarrson boulevards when the accident occurred.

Witnesses indicated that the golf cart appeared to have been rear-ended by the Ford Escape. The driver of the golf cart appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle.

Lady Lake police officers, Villages Public Safety Department and Lake EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
