Golf cart flips in parking lot of Rohan Recreation Center

A woman driving a golf cart escaped injury when her golf cart flipped over Monday morning in the parking lot of the Rohan Recreation Center.

The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. when the golf cart collided with a vehicle that was leaving the parking lot, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

An ambulance arrived on the scene but neither driver required transport.

No tickets were issued as both drivers had different accounts of what had happened.
