To the Editor:
Regarding the letter about getting the speed merchants off the multi modal paths, you can’t! These are the important people, they don’t have to go by the same rules as the “common” people. They don’t have to stop at the stop signs and have the right of way at all intersections. Personally, I’d like to see the police be able to write tickets to these folks, it might even help the taxes go down. Lets see, speeding $280.00, unlicensed vehicle $500.00 to $750.00, under insured motor vehicle, +/- $300.00, probably no seat belts $250.00 a total somewhere in the neighborhood of $2000.00 and points on the license. That would slow them down in a hurry. Of course, this won’t happen, the elite will always be with us.
