In January, Jeremiah Bullen of the Village of Buttonwood suffered a heart attack moments before his car collided with a golf cart at the Tarpon Boil Executive Golf Course. A Fruitland Park man suffered a medical episode moments before his Cadillac SUV left the roadway and struck a golf cart, killing two friends who had been traveling on the multi-modal path near Colony Professional Plaza on County Road 466A. Villager Nancy Ann Von Nostitz, 66, had been driving the golf cart. Her long-time friend, 68-year Marsha Eger, had been riding in the passenger seat of the golf cart. A 77-year-old Villager was killed in September when his golf cart was struck by a pickup truck near The Villages Regional Hospital. You can read about that accident HERE
