Legendary golfer Nancy Lopez will hold an event to benefit her favorite charity, AIM, Thursday at Chick-fil-A at The Villages.

She will be at Chick-fil-A at Rolling Acres Shopping Plaza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. She will be signing autographs and meeting with fans. You can help support AIM by eating at Chick-fil-A during the Lopez event.

In 1981, at the height of her career, Lopez was aware something was missing in her life and

realized she wanted to give something back. After meeting AIM Dr. Jo Geiger, national executive director, and the

AIM children, she knew she had found her calling. The first Nancy Lopez/AIM Golf Tournament was held in 1981

and continues as an outstanding event. Lopez serves as chairman of the National Ambassadors to AIM (Adventures In Movement) for the Handicapped, Inc.

AIM is a national non-profit organization founded in Dayton, Ohio in 1958.
