Babiarz scored 9 runs in the last 2 innings to secure this win behind Bill Naasz’s 4 hits, including a home run, and 3 RBI’s. Vince Pezzulo (2 RBI’s) also had 4 hits while Ralph Furbush, Felix Rodriquez (3 RBI’s) and Ed Moriarity (2 RBI’s) all added 3 hits. In the loss Bill Nisbet and Pat Perkins (3 RBI’s) both had 3 hits while 4 other players had 2 hits each.

Arden’s scored 3 runs in the 7th inning but IHOP held on for the win when a double play was not turned in the bottom of the inning to allow the winning run to score. The winners were led by Mark Goodwin’s 4 hits while pitcher Jim Lambert and Ed Bergheimer each added 2 hits. Phil Palma and Larry Williams both drove in 2 runs. Arden got 3 hits, (3 RBI’s) from Tom Bolte while Manny Sanchez, David Blandford, Don Mulneix, Terry Yanny, Tom Winegarden and John Wyks all added 2 hits.
