Harold Hershey, 77, of The Villages, FL passed away on Aug 10, 2014. He was born in Lancaster, PA and moved to The Villages in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Thomas Hershey. He was the son of the late John and Grace Hershey. Gordonville, PA He is survived by sisters: Thelma Kreider (Elvin), Martha Yoder (Jay), Helen Kreider (Paul) and a brother Elvin (Patty) Hershey and nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by two brothers. Leon (Ruth) and Paul (Reba) Hershey. He was the owner-operator of Hershey’s Sunoco, Lancaster, PA and Hershey’s ARCO in Landisville, PA. He was the choir director at Grace Baptist Church in Rohrerstown, PA for 20 years and currently was the choir director at Tri-County Baptist Church, Lady Lake, FL. In retirement years he enjoyed being a handyman. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Tri-County Baptist Church, 38405 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, FL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Missions Fund at Tri-Country Baptist Church.
