Hearing Loss Association to learn more about Electric Acoustic Stimulation Cochlear implant for high frequency hearing loss

The Hearing Loss Association of America-Central Florida Chapter will hold its next meeting, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 at the Churchill Street Recreation Center in the Triple Crown room.

Virgi Mills, consumer outreach manager for MED EL will share the latest FDA-approved MED EL technology called the EAS, (Electric Acoustic Stimulation Cochlear implant for high frequency hearing loss). The MED EL’s Synchrony CI system and ways to practice listening will also be discussed. The room is looped for hearing assistance.
