Henry H. Smith, 81, of The Villages, Florida passed away on August 10, 2014. He was born on September 2, 1932 in Yakima, Washington to Mary and Howard Smith. Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Korea from 1950-1953. Afterwards, he moved to Chicago, Illinois and worked for International Harvester/Navistar for 32 years. Henry and his wife Antonette retired to the Villages, Florida in 2000. Henry is survived by his Wife Antonette, Brother Jack Smith, two Daughters Kathryn Graszer and Patricia Hyzy and five grandchildren, David, Johnathon, Christina, Samuel, and Madelynn. A memorial service will be held in Illinois, his home town. A memorial service will be held at The Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. A gathering will be held from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
