Herbert Don Adams, 67, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg Florida. He was the husband of Sandy Adams for 39 years. Born on February 19, 1950 in Whitesburg, Kentucky he was the son of the late Hebert and Thelma (Boggs) Adams. He was a long time employee with Silver Springs Citrus and retired in 2015. He was a member of the Eagles Club of Leesburg, Florida. He enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, corn hole, bowling and playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.

Don will be deeply missed by his wife, Sandy and son Tony Adams of Leesburg Fl., son Herbert Adams of Richmond Indiana, step-daughter Samantha Watford and her husband David Watford of Summerfield, FL; Step-son Bryan Williams of Leesburg, Fl. , step-son Ricky Rakes of Leesburg, Fl., Sister Barbara Wheeler of Leesburg Fl. , sister Christine Dempsey of Leesburg Fl. , sister Mickey Bragg of Portal GA., sister Nina Hortan of Ray City GA., sister Judy Roberts of Ray City GA., brother Eddie Adams of Portal GA., brother Dave Adams of Leesburg , Fl., Bob Adams of Portal GA., Cecil Adams of Portal GA., nine Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, and two Great- Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends and family at Beyers Funeral Home Services, 1123 West Main Street, Leesburg FL. on Monday March 6, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m. ; followed by the service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1901 County Road 25-A, Leesburg Florida.
