Herve Joseph Rene Lavoie, 79, of Wildwood, Florida passed away July 21, 2014 at Lance Pursell Hospice House Sumterville, Florida. He was born on May 15, 1935 in St. Pacome, Canada to Leon and Eva (Pelletier) Lavoie. Herve is survived by his wife, Rita Lavoie, Wildwood, FL, son, Michael D. Lavoie, Fountain Inn, SC, two brothers, Marc Lavoie, West Warick, R.I., Leonard Lavoie, Bradenton, FL; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Rene H. Lavoie, his parents and eight siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Community ,The Villages on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. A committal ceremony will follow the mass at Florida National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
