Honor Flight needs your support

To the Editor:

The 3rd “Flightless/Virtual” Honor Flight will be held next Saturday, September 28, 2015. Villages Honor Flight will be providing 15 WWII, Korea and Vietnam veterans a “virtual” trip to visit monuments in Washington, D.C. These are veterans who cannot endure the rigors of an actual flight, so this program has been developed for them.  Area residents are urged to attend the  “Meet & Greet” at the simulated Baltimore Airport at 11:40 A.M. at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center, and again at the simulated Orlando Airport at 2:30 P.M. Finally, help celebrate their return at the “Homecoming” at the American Legion Post 347, corner of Rolling Acres and CR-466,  at 3:00 P.M.  Bring your flags and cheer these veterans!
