Howard Charles “Howie” Dow, 61, of Wildwood, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. Mr. Dow was born August 7, 1952 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada to Joseph and Ella Mae (Kindon) Dow. He moved to Wildwood one year ago from Houlton, Maine. He was of Baptist faith, and was retired from the landscaping business. Howie enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycles. He also performed handyman services for his friends and neighbors. He is survived by his loving wife Lyla of 20 years; sons; Richard Thompkins, St. John, Canada, Jason Rackliff of Maine; brother, Donald Dow of Woodstock, Canada; sisters, Debra Jean MacAskill of Wildwood, Lillian Dow , New Brunswick, Canada; two granddaughters, Kiley and Emiley Rackliff.
Visitation for Howard will be 1:00pm – 3:00pm with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 29, 2013, in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. For those wishing memorial contributions may be directed to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
