Hugh Coleman Joiner, 75 of Fruitland Park, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Born and raised in Ideal, GA. He began his career in Americus, GA as a salesperson for a manufactured housing industry. He moved to Lakeland, FL in 1972 and continued as a sales manager for FUQA Homes and finished his career with Homes of Merit in Bartow, FL. Hugh and Sadie moved to Fruitland Park in 2006 to retire. He was very involved in his family history and genealogy. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and he loved taking care of his horse Lila. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and husband. He is survived by his wife; Sadie of Fruitland Park, son: Todd (Deona) Joiner, Lakeland, FL, daughters; Kim Joiner, Lakeland and Heather Laver of Fruitland Park, son; Aaron (Macie) Kent, Lakeland, mother; Alice Joiner, Marshallville, GA, sister; Paula ( Keith) Bridges, Perry, GA, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland, FL on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
