James Charles ‘JC’ Barnes

James Charles “JC” Barnes, 77, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Mr. Barnes was born May 6, 1938 in Coleman, FL to James Robert and Vera Ellen (Alsobrook) Barnes. JC was a lifelong resident of this area; he was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. JC was a retired Conductor from CSX Railroad and loved fishing, hunting and reading Louis LAmour westerns. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Donna; son, James of Wildwood; daughter, Tiffany Sherman of Citrus Springs; brother, Jimmy of Lake Panasoffkee; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with visitation from 2 – 3 p.m. and interment following the service in Adamsville Cemetery.
