Jean Copeland Kelly

Jean Copeland Kelly passed away July 16, 2014 at Promise Hospital of Florida. She was a native of Norfolk, Virginia, born May 29, 1928. She was the daughter of Nellie McCloud Copeland and Robert Leigh Copeland. She was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk and Charter Member of Brownwood Baptist Church in The Villages. Jean is survived by her husband of 69 years, Julian: four sons, Michael Kelly and his wife Melody of The Villages; Jeffrey Kelly and his wife Teresa of The Villages; Keith Kelly of Tampa; and Kevin Kelly of Newport News VA; four grandchildren, Michelle and husband Patrick of North Carolina; Brian and his wife Kelly of Georgia; Jacob and Alex of Virginia; two great grandchildren, Michael and Kelly. She was also survived by her brothers, Robert Copeland and his wife Arlene of Arkansas; and John Copeland and his wife Carolyn of Virginia. A memorial service will be held July 19, 2014, Saturday at 11:00 am at Brownwood Baptist Church, 850 South Main Street (Hwy 301), Wildwood FL 34785. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to “Backpacks 4 Kids”, care of Brownwood Baptist Church.
