JoAnn Gabos

JoAnn Gabos, 80, of Summerfield, Florida, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2017.

Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on June 12, 1937, JoAnn is survived by her adoring husband of 61 years, Louis Gabos Sr. her daughter, Angela Gardner and husband Tommy Gardner of Mount Dora, Florida and her two sons Lou Gabos, Jr. and wife Lisa Gabos of Longwood, Florida and Brian Gabos of Cookeville, Tennessee. JoAnn was lovingly called grandmom by her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

JoAnn was one of 7 siblings, a homemaker and enjoyed reading, gardening and travelling. She lived in south New Jersey for 40 years and has been a resident of Central Florida since 1978.

To celebrate JoAnn’s life, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home located at 134 North Highway 27/441, Lady Lake, Florida 32159. Interment to follow immediately at Pine Forest Cemetery, 1699 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, Florida 32757
