John Thomas Daly

John Thomas Daly, 85, The Villages, FL, formerly of CT, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. He leaves his wife Jean, sons Thomas and John, daughter Nora and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter Katharine and three sisters.

John graduated from Fordham University and received his Master’s Degree from Fairfield University. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He spent his career in education, as a teacher, high school principal and the last nineteen years as Executive Director of the Connecticut Association of Schools. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed music, photography, woodworking and cooking.

Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with a memorial service in Connecticut at a later date.
