Dr. Joseph L. Pellettieri 82, The Villages, FL went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was born in Yonkers, N.Y. and the only child to Lillian and Dominick Pellettieri. After serving in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, he went on to graduate from New York University and received his Medical Degree from the Illinois College of Podiatry. In 1966 he founded and established Speedway Podiatry, located in Speedway, IN. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and American Podiatry Association. Playing the guitar was his favorite pastime and he joined several groups in The Villages. He leaves behind his devoted wife Mary of 57 years, 3 children. Linda Pellettieri (The Villages, FL), Joseph M. Pellettieri and his wife Barbara of Southlake,TX and Annemarie Kreager and her husband Rob of Belleview, FL. along with 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12, 2017, 8:30 AM at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake, FL. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
