Josephine E. Simpson

Josephine E. Simpson, 88, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014. Mrs. Simpson was born October 14, 1925 in Chicago, IL. She was a retired secretary and moved to Florida in 1985. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, playing cards with friends and doing jigsaw puzzles and reading to keep her mind sharp. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Wall along with 2 granddaughters, Kerri Evans and Cristin Evans. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John and a son, Glenn Evans. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014 in the Page-Theus Funeral Home with Mrs. Simpson’s family and friends gathering from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
