A “no contact” order that had been in place for a Village of Del Mar woman arrested in August after an alleged attack on her husband who ditched her at a Spanish Springs restaurant has been terminated.

Stephanie Marie Buckley, 50, had to walk to her home on Prado Drive on Aug. 26 after her husband of four years left her at Gator’s Dockside when she went to the restroom, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

When Buckley arrived at home, she began arguing with her husband, threw items at him and slapped him several times, the report indicated. He then called 911. When a police officer arrived, he found the home in disarray with broken glass, furniture and other items. You can read more about the original arrest HERE

Buckley was arrested on a charge of battery. The court had put in place a no contact order meaning she had to stay away from her husband.

However, according to a joint stipulation filed this past week in Lake County Court, Buckley may now have “non-violent” contact with her husband.

Her case will be up in court later this month for a pre-trial conference.
