Julia C. Hyatt, 88, of Summerfield, FL, passed from this life Sunday, September 18, 2016. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Boran) Fox.
Julia was a retired executive secretary for the Emigrant Savings Bank, Manhattan, NY.
She and her husband, Arthur came to Spruce Creek South from Suffern, NY in1992.
Julia enjoyed golf, bingo and going to the casinos.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Arthur Hyatt in 1998. Julia leaves several nieces, nephews and godchild.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, The Villages on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala, FL
