THE VILLAGES – Julia A. DiDonna, 82, passed from this life Thursday, September 25, 2014. Born in New York, NY Julia was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Bezinec) Horvath. She lived in Long Island, NY and in Valencia, CA where she was an insurance underwriter for several years. She moved to The Villages in 2002 from Valencia, CA. She enjoyed golf, crocheting and mahjong. Gardening and bird watching were other favorite activities. She found her greatest joy in her marriage of 61 years to her husband Michael and her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne DiDonna-Moore in 1985. Julia leaves her husband, Michael A. DiDonna, a son, Michael of Colorado, a daughter, Julia Kadlec of California, brothers, John Horvath of New York, Edward Horvath of Nevada, four grandchildren, Michelangelo, Christopher, Danielle, Katie and six great grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of The Resurrection will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, Summerfield at 10 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
