Julia Jean Finley, 85, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away February 12, 2017 at The Villages Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. She was the wife of the late James Finley.
Known as Judy to her friends, she was born and grew up in Brazil, Indiana, and later attended Indiana State University. For many years she lived in Doylestown, PA, raising her family there. She was a member of the Doylestown Presbyterian Church and the Doylestown Art League, and also enjoyed golf and volunteering at the Doylestown Hospital.
She later moved to The Villages, Florida, where she enjoyed many friendships, extensive worldwide travel, involvement in a number of clubs, and golf.
Judy is survived and will be missed by daughters, Joyce and her husband Jere Knisely of Manheim, PA, Janette and her husband Don Rigby of New Hudson, MI, and sons Jeffrey Finley and his wife Kathleen of Doylestown, PA, Jerald Finley and his wife Marcy of Marietta, GA, Jonathan Finley and his wife Christina of Sellersville, PA. She has 11 grandchildren, including Mac Finley, Connor Finley, Mike Finley, Greg Knisely, Katie Knisely and Brad (Andrea) Rigby of Pennsylvania, Adam Finley and Matt Finley of Georgia, Jody (Paul) Koutz of Michigan, Carrie Finley of Connecticut and Steven (Leah) Rigby of Seoul, S. Korea. She also has 5 great grandchildren; Bridget, Spencer, Finley, Mitchell and Fisher.
Inurnment will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with her husband James.
