Karen M. Stanley

Karen M Stanley, 64, of The Villages, FL, passed away July 16, 2017. She was born in Lowell, MA, grew up in Somerville and Waltham MA. Was a twin to Ken.

After H.S. Karen obtained her hairdressing license, which she enjoyed doing for many years in salons, private homes, and nursing homes. She ran her own business, flower/craft shop, and worked at the Waltham Stop and Shop, Lexington St., as asst. manager for many years before retiring to FL. Karen enjoyed golf, bowling, dancing, visiting with and caring for family and friends.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 33 yrs., Dave Stanley; siblings Richard Hoyt of, AZ, Dianne Hoyt Latter of MA, Kenneth Hoyt of NH, Michael Hoyt of MA; her children, Dawn Conzo O’Neill of MA, Kimberly Conzo Strafford of MA, and Kevin Conzo of WA. Also her adoring grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Karen is predeceased by her parents, Norman Hoyt and Mary T. Long Hoyt; brother in law, Dean Stanley; and grandson, Zachary Dean Conzo. She will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be at the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake on Friday July 21, 2017 from 3 – 5 p.m.
