Karl Rove, the political strategist who guided George W. Bush to the Texas governor’s mansion and then to two terms in the White House, has announced a visit to The Villages later this year.
Rove’s new book, “The Triumph of William McKinley: Why the Election of 1896 Still Matters,” will be released Nov. 24.
Rove will sign copies of the book beginning at 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at Barnes & Noble at Lake Sumter Landing.
Rove served as a senior advisor at the White House from 2001 to 2007.
Rove held a town hall style event April 27, 2010 at Colony Cottage Recreation Center when he was promoting his previous book, “Courage and Consequence.”
