A 21-year-old Lady Lake man was released on $4,000 bond Monday following his arrest Sunday after allegedly throwing a can of soda at his brother.

Lady Lake police responded just before 9 p.m. Sunday to the 1200 block of Padgett Circle after a 911 hangup call.

There Joshua Stein had reportedly gotten into an altercation with his brother. Stein reportedly threw a full can of soda at his brother’s face, causing a laceration.

Stein was arrested on a charge of domestic battery and transported to the Lake County Jail.

He is scheduled for arraignment Oct. 15 in Lake County Court.
