A 21-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested Sunday evening on a charge of domestic battery.
Lady Lake police were called to a home on Spring Arbor Lane where Travis Wayne Long allegedly got into a dispute with a woman.
Long told police that the woman had slipped on a child’s book, according to the arrest report.
He also told police that he occasionally gets mad and punches walls, but never strikes the woman, the arrest report indicated.
Long was booked at the Lake County Jail where he later posted $1,000 bond and was released.
He is due for arraignment Dec. 31 in Lake County Court.
