Lady Lake woman arrested at Wal-Mart

A 35-year-old Lady Lake woman with a history of retail theft arrests, was taken into custody Thursday evening at Wal-Mart in Leesburg.

Christina M. Dixon allegedly attempted to take Mountain Dew, popcorn, trash bags and a crib liner without paying for them, according to an arrest report.

She was initially detained by the store’s loss prevention officer and later arrested by a Leesburg police officer. She attempted to get away from the loss prevention officer and leave the store, the arrest report indicated.

She had previous convictions for retail theft, the arrest report indicated.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $3,000.
