Lake Sumter Line Boat Tours docked due to high water levels

The Camp Villages group sets sail
The Evening Star won’t be sailing for a while.

Due to high water levels, the popular Lake Sumter Line Boat Tours will be closed until further notice.
The Villages has received about 50 inches of rain thus far this year. In September, The Villages received about 10 inches of rain.
All of the water has pushed up the level at the lake and many of the ponds around The Villages.
If you have any questions or need additional information about when the boat line might resume, contact the Laurel Manor Recreation Center at 751-7110.
