Law enforcement agencies joined forces to track down a wanted brother found hiding in a camper.

Eric Lee McCleary, 36, had been arrested last week at his home on Happy Lane in Lady Lake after trying to prevent the apprehension of his brother, 41-year-old Patrick Michael McCleary, who was wanted on a warrant.

After Patrick McCleary bolted from the house, the Lady Lake Police Department, the Wildwood Police Department, the Leesburg Police Department, and the Fruitland Park Police Department joined the Lake County Sherif’s Office in the search for him. He was found hiding in a camper.

He had been wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence. Patrick McCleary had also been arrested in 2016 in a theft case in the Village of Winifred.
