Leesburg police catch and release baby alligator at Circle K

Officers with the Leesburg Police Department did a little catch-and-release with a baby alligator discovered at a service station.

Sergeant Scott Gray and Officer Dustin Tyce responded Tuesday morning to the Circle K service at 900 S 14th St. just off U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

After capturing the alligator, they released it in the wetlands located behind the service station.

Bring back the pool attendants so IDs can be checked
