To the Editor:
I have experienced difficulty in crossing, in my golf cart, at the manned entrance gates. Most of the time, the visitor gate goes up, but apparently the conversation with the gate attendant hasn’t ended because no car appears. This puts me in the position of pulling out and taking my chances on getting across without getting hit or waiting, and backing up traffic behind me. When coming from the “blind side” of these gate houses, it is impossible to see when the visitor auto begins to move until you are almost in its path. I would ask that gate attendants not raise the gate until the car is ready to enter.
