To the Editor:
Why is it that in The Villages we are not permitted to play through slower groups? Everywhere else in the country it is considered common courtesy to let a group behind you that is waiting every shot play through. Yesterday, we had no one behind us and only one group in front of us for three holes. We waited every shot for them and they never saw a group in front of them. The ambassador said they were on the clock so there was nothing he could do. At one point, one of the members in the group in front of us gave us the finger because we were waiting over 5 minutes for them to clear the green.
